Domo Arigato: Henry-san

A few weeks ago, a gentleman by the name of Henry emailed me and offered to help with my 1990 Topps Coin set.  I've been trying to wrap up this set for about a year now, so I graciously accepted his assistance.  Here's what he sent:

Which leaves me needing just one last coin on my want list...

In addition to the coins, Henry added a nice stack of cards for my collection.  Let's start of with his autograph and a breakdown of his package:

First up... a brand new Tony Gwynn for my binder:

It's pretty rare to come across a new Tony Gwynn.  You could hand me a stack of 100 different Gwynns and I might only need three or four.  Henry definitely beat the odds.

In addition to the Gwynns, he sent some Ray Lewis and Ed Reed cards for my PC...

Some Cal Bears and a San Jose SaberCat...

A bunch of Japanese baseball players...

And a nice stack of Oakland Athletics...

I'm slowly getting back to my roots and discovering a new found love for 80's Fleer baseball logo stickers.  This might just be the card that motivates me to track down all of the different Oakland A's and San Diego Padres stickers from the 80's and 90's.

Wrapping things up is this sweet 1994 Rod Woodson Kenner SLU:

It's been awhile since I've added any new players to my football shelf, but this will make a nice addition.  Rod Woodson was a beast back in the 90's.

Thanks Henry for helping me out with my collection.  I'll be shipping out some Brewers and Packers for your collection in the next week or so.

Happy Tuesday and sayonara!
