Back in August, I was informed by one of my cardboard buddies... key2win... that I was CCW's July Member of the Month.
I've been a CCW member for almost three years and have always wanted the flashing "MEMBER OF THE MONTH" plank under my name. In addition to the plank, I also received this generous prize package:
If you're not familiar with CCW, I encourage you to head over there and sign up. Go ahead... click here. You won't regret it.
They're constantly running free contests, have a great trade manager with the ability to leave member feedback, and an amazing forum that offers thousands of cardboard and sports related threads. What are you waiting for?
Here's your question of the day...
Are you currently a member of any cardboard collecting forums?
Happy Saturday and sayonara!

SCF
Have an account on blowout, but usually just stick to sports card radio
Sports Card Radio!!! :)
A bunch. But I only frequent Blowout. And I'd say I'm very active there...it's a good time.
I am part of any forum that trades soccer cards ! See my blog for some of my wins, trades and acquisitions.
Congrats on being CCW memer of the month, FUJ !
I'm a member of several, some I can even remember the logins for! SCF, Blowout, FCB, TheBench, Net54, Beckett, SportsCardRadio, that Australian one where I post like once a year...I'm sure there are a couple more I signed up for and have never been back. TheBench, SCF and FCB are about the only ones I'm any kind of active on, and TheBench is about the only place I actively trade.
It's like collecting itself. There are so many options, some better than others, each with their own strong points, but ultimately, you just can't actively participate on all of them with any kind of regularity (at least not if you want to be able to keep up with the threads), so you have to choose.
Beckett & Blowout, under the name Ziveus101 introducing the card collecting community to some of the hidden gems just waiting to be found in Japan.
Thanks Chuck!
Lol... I'm in the same boat. I've signed up for a bunch, but the three I frequent the most are Sports Card Forum, Card Collectors World, and Sports Card Radio.
I agree each of them have their own strengths. I have a huge feedback rating on SCF, so trading is easier. I have several friends on CCW, plus they share my blog on their forum, so they broaden my audience. And SCR has great discussions and I'm a huge fan of their podcasts.
I have accounts on both of these, but rarely log in to either. Well... I guess I log into Beckett, but mainly to use their OPG.
I'm on the Bench...I just received an email yesterday though that I haven't been there in quite a while and they want me back..
I've never heard of the Bench... but I'm headed over there to check it out. Thanks for sharing!
There's also another one, Sideline Sportscards. It's one I found through Blowout and it's sort of neat in that they have a live IM thing at the top of their page once you log in so you can speak with people live instead of just having threads.
That's pretty cool. I was once part of a giant message room chat... but people were talking over each other and it got too confusing for me. The one on one IM'ing is much more attractive to me.
