Merry Christmas

The blogosphere has blessed us with some talented custom card creators.  One of them celebrated his birthday yesterday.  Happy belated birthday Gavin!

Back in November he showed of some custom Christmas tree ornaments he created and offered up for sale.  I'm not always able to send supersized care packages to fellow bloggers, so I figured purchasing a couple from his eBay store would show my appreciation for his creativity... while adding a unique Rickey Henderson item to my collection:

The other one was purchased for a fellow blogger who may or may not be opening it up today as it was part of his Christmas present.

Speaking of special days... in addition to people around the world celebrating Jesus' birthday... I wanted to celebrate the Man of Steal's birthday.  Happy birthday Rickey!

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.  As a fan of his who is still trying to wrap my brain around him being gone... I can only imagine what those who were close to him are going through during this holiday season.
