I've Been Planked... Again.

Matt over at Bob Walk the Plank is insanely generous.  In a two week span, I've received two packages.  The first time around he donated a Yoenis Cespedes autograph to my collection.

This time he sent me a small stack of cards that included these four serial numbered cards:

2004 Donruss Threads "Dynasty" #D3 (#'d 89/100)

I'm a huge fan of cardboard featuring members of The Swingin' A's.  Reggie and Catfish were a huge part of the team that won three straight World Series Championships.

2004 Throwback Threads "Century Stars" #CS58 (#'d 35/100)

I have a binder full of Tony Gwynn cards, but only two or three that are serial numbered this low.  This is a huge addition to my collection.

2011 Limited Draft Hits #20 and #21

I started the post with old school players, so I'll wrap it up with some of the new kids on the block.  On the left is one of the three pitchers Bob Melvin is looking at to open up the 2014 season.  And on the right is one of the top prospects in the San Diego Padres organization

Thanks for cards Matt.  As soon as I replenish my Pirates cards, I'll put together a care package for you.

Happy Saturday and sayonara!

Glad you liked the cards. I just found a few Japanese game used cards going through my stuff. I believe they have your name on them!

LOL. I think you're my number one source of cardboard right now. Looks like I'm going to have to go Pirate hunting for you. Thanks for all of the awesome cards!
