Barry Bonds
It's pretty simple... while card companies were flooding the hobby with autographed cards, Fleer took things to the next level and started adding one of these cool, fitted, MLB licensed caps into each of their Legacy boxes.

I know they're not for everyone. They take up a lot more room than a 2.5" x 3.5" piece of cardboard and are much more difficult to display.

But like humans... if you love something enough, you're willing to accept them for whatever they are.

Wow those are pretty slick.
So cool.
I think those 4 are worth hanging a shelf for!
Very cool.
I assume these are not like the NFL Mini helmets? Whatever they are cool as heck.
Those are awesome!
Wow, I know nothing about that deal. Learn something new every day on these blogs. I went and looked them up on eBay. Boxes go for upwards of $300. Did you get them from boxes or individually as caps on the secondary market?
I totally forgot about those, they are pretty cool. I miss Fleer.
I picked all of them up on eBay. All four hats cost me just under the price of a box. The Bonds set me back the most ($100 + $20 shipping), but the rest were just around $45 to $55 (delivered).
Right now I don't have the room, but my buddy is going to use them in his man cave after he buys the hat protectors.
Wow! Have never seen these. Very cool
Fleer did this in Basketball too with their Fleer Legacy product in 00-01. You got an autograph replica jersey per box
