Keep Hope Alive!

It's been a rough season for Yoenis Cespedes... well at least in the eyes of this particular Athletics fan.  Last season, he was easily the team's best hitter and the closest thing to being the A's offensive shining star.

Many A's fans, including myself had high expectations for Cespedes, but he's struggled to meet them.  Heck... he's struggled to match last year's numbers.

But his entertaining performance during last night's MLB Home Run Derby has given this particular fan some hope as he entered the record books (first non all-star to win the competition) and took home the crown.

Congratulations Yoenis!

Hopefully that hot bat of yours carries into the second half of the season.  It's a shame you can't have Mike Gallego pitching to you every night.

Happy Tuesday and sayonara!

Greg - Thanks

TLC - The A's need him to have a big second half too.

Brad - If you're right... you're a genius.
