On the flipside, they've been held hitless eight different times.
Dock Ellis was the first pitcher to hold the Padres' batters to zero hits. On June 12th, 1970 he pitched his famous LSD No-No...
Last night it was Tim Lincecum's turn.
Just kidding Giants fans. I'm actually happy for you guys. Hopefully one of these days, I'll get the opportunity to celebrate a no-hitter as a Padres fan.
Congratulations Timmy!
Happy Sunday and sayonara!

Playing in the NL West, I'd be shocked if the Padres didn't eventually get a no-no.
Though they need better arms to get there....
I think what Lincecum was missing was the haircut.
Since he got it he came back as a starter and got the no-hitter.
Of course he got terrific help from the (cute!) Hunter 'flying' Pence.
I watched the last few innings and saw him interviewed in the dugout post-game by the SF TV announcers. Linceum is kind of an odd dude. I can't put my finger on it but he seemed 'comfortably uncomfortable' with the questions. I know that makes no sense but.....
It's crazy... because they play in a pitcher's park. But you're right... without talent, they're not going to do it.
Lol... the ladies like Pence.
not at all males as well have a big craze about pence dear
