A last ditch team prayer & a quick contest plug...

Let's Go Oakland!

Right about now, the Oakland Athletics should be taking the field against the Texas Rangers for their last regular season game of the year and an opportunity to walk away with the AL West title.  Who would have thought?

This season has truly been amazing for A's fans.  Their amazing pitching, clutch hitting, and awesome fourteen walk off wins this season have left millions of fans scratching their heads, while put plenty of smiles on their fans' faces.  I'm one of those people who fall into both categories.

Anyways... at this very second... I'm in front of the class teaching, unable to watch the game.  But thank goodness for scheduled posts.

I just wanted to cross my fingers, show my support, and most of all... show my appreciation for their hard work and effort to keep baseball alive for their franchise and fans.

Let's go Oakland!

Now onto some football news.  Hey pigskin fans...  All About Cards and Panini have teamed up and are having a football contest with five different prize groups, including an autographed Andy Dalton photo.

So what are you waiting for?  Click here to get started.  Thanks Baseball Nut for hosting this amazing contest.

Let's go Oakland!

Dude, I am extremely happy that the Orioles will be facing the Rangers in the wild card game, and not the beyond-hot A's. I'll be rooting for los Atleticos as long as they don't go up against the O's.

Thanks! Listened to the 7th & 8th innings on the radio. And was able to make it to my friends house in time to watch the 9th inning... it was awesome.

I'm in the same boat as you are... I'll be pulling for the Orioles as long as they're not playing the A's or the Giants (not a Giants fan, but gotta support the local team).
