Getting Suspicious...


Has anyone else ever ordered from Sportsnut Cards and Collectibles?  Have you had any issues?  I have purchased a few cards for my collection in the past without any hiccups, but my latest purchase has left me empty-handed.

 Here's a timeline of my cardboard debacle...

August 13th, 2013 - I purchased a 2005 Upper Deck Past Time Signature card of Mike Scioscia for $6 (+ $2.50 shipping).  Payment sent (using PayPal) immediately.

 September 6th, 2013 - I emailed the company asking about the shipment of the Scioscia, but didn't receive a response.

 September 12th, 2013 - I sent them a second email.  No response.

 September 18th, 2013 - I sent another email yesterday.  Guess what?  No response.

 Anyways... I was just wondering if anyone had any information on this company.  They added more cards to their website two days ago, so they're operational.

 I don't know what else to do, but I'm starting to think that I'm not going to ever receive my card.

    I ordered from them in June of last year, never got the card or a reply via email. Had to file a paypal dispute to get my money back.

      Glad you were able to get your money back. It's a shame, since they seem to be an actual card shop on the East Coast.

    I would say that after 3 emails, you have Paypal refund your money.

    File a dispute through paypal. And then when you get your money back, write the kind of email that would make a sailor blush cursing their crappy customer service.

    Somewhere in my card collecting conversations with someone a few months ago at a baseball game I was told to avoid these guys like the plague after I brought up their name in a "I was thinking about getting some stuff from them mood".

    Sorry to hear about the problem. Sounds like another option for card purchases is off the table.

    I've actually been to their store a couple of times, but not in a while. Never dealt with them on eBay. I'll be in the neighborhood next weekend, if you want me to drive by and rough 'em up a little. >:D

      Lol... no but I appreciate the offer. If you do stop by... maybe ask them what their deal is. I'm a pretty understanding guy... who just wanted to know what the deal was.
