Most of my friends and family know about my love for sports and pop culture memorabilia. Sometimes it leads to The Big Bang Theory jokes. And sometimes it leads to photos like these:
Eliza Dushku
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Jennifer Walcott
Playmate of the Month: August 2001
Karen Hafter
Playmate of the Month: December 1976
Gig Gangel
Playmate of the Month: January 1980

Last month, I purchased a box containing over 200 autographed photos off a friend who found them in a storage unit she purchased. She knows that I have a passion for collecting autographs and gave me first crack at them.
Unfortunately there weren't any Tony Gwynn or Aaron Rodgers autographs to be found... just a bunch of attractive ladies.
Normally, I wouldn't invest my time or money on this type of purchase, but she made me an offer I couldn't refuse... $40 for the whole box.
One of my buddies has already offered to sell them for me on eBay to help recoup the initial investment and hopefully fund plenty of future sports card purchases.
As for the above photos... they're the seven I'm planning on keeping for myself. I can't imagine hanging these up in my home and they're not really appropriate for my classroom walls, so maybe they'll go out into the garage and keep Christy and Gail company:

Happy Saturday and sayonara!
I want to say something but I don't know what.
ReplyDeleteWow! Very awesome indeed. I'm partial to the Dushku and the knockouts. Great post!

ReplyDeleteUmmm...what? Were there words?
ReplyDeleteDushku ftw. What were the ones that didn't make the post?
ReplyDeleteThere were a bunch of nude photos of Playboy Playmates. As a teacher and uncle, they don't really fit my collection and aren't really blog appropriate for me. So my buddy has offered to sell them for me using his eBay account (he'll keep half of the money, since he'll be doing all of the legwork).
