It's time to make things interesting...

Okay guys... below you will find the updated scoreboard. As of today, 63 different people have left comments on one or more of my posts. But now it's time to make things a little more interesting.

It's time to separate the puppies from the big dogs, so we're going to have one of those contests within a contest and it will involve you predicting which MLB teams are going to win on Thursday, July 14th. There are 7 games scheduled:

Cleveland at Baltimore

New York (AL) at Toronto

Florida at Chicago (NL)

Kansas City at Minnesota

Milwaukee at Colorado

San Francisco at San Diego

Texas at Seattle

You are required to pick a winner for each of the 7 games. In other words, don't just choose the winner of the Rangers/Mariners game.

If you choose to not participate, you will lose two points... which will help weed out some of the 26 participants who only have one point.

However... if you play... you have the opportunity to win some extra points. Here are the rewards:

If you go 7 for 7... you will win 10 points.

If you go 6 for 7... you will win 7 points.

If you go 5 for 7... you will win 5 points.

If you go 4 for 7... you will win 3 points.

If you go 3 for 7... you will win 1 points.

If you go 2 for 7... you will lose 2 points.

If you go 1 for 7... you will lose 4 points.

If you go 0 for 7... you will win 8 points.

***Any delays or postponements (on Thursday) will count as a win, no matter who you pick for that particular game.

All entries must be submitted by 3:30pm (PST) on Thursday afternoon, so you have over 48 hours to make your predictions.

As a bonus... anyone who correctly picks all 7 games will have their name randomized for a free Willie McCovey autograph that I acquired from a garage sale a few weeks ago.

There's no certificate of authenticity, however the previous owner was a huge Giants fan and was known for going out and obtaining in-person autographs. I've compared it to his signature on other items and it looks authentic to me.

Names will be entered into random.org and will be randomized 5 times... whoever's name is on top after the fifth time wins the card. The McCovey will be shipped in August at the end of the contest.

If nobody picks all 7 games correctly, the McCovey will be added as a prize package.

Reminder... if you don't submit a contest entry, two points will be deducted from your total.

Remember... at the end of the contest... for every point you have, your name will be entered into random.org... after that we'll leave it up to fate. However... it's basic math... the more points you have, the better your odds are of winning.
