Love it when teams compete with homegrown talent. Looking forward to watching it.Fujihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00749100861086458307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199201726099157936.post-54904160587196714412012-11-04T05:15:03.538-08:002012-11-04T05:15:03.538-08:00Heck yeah... the dunk where McGrady tosses him the...Heck yeah... the dunk where McGrady tosses him the ball and he puts it under his leg is one of my favorite dunks of all-time.Fujihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00749100861086458307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199201726099157936.post-60799269978238822222012-11-03T09:19:49.369-07:002012-11-03T09:19:49.369-07:00My favorite would be "The Killer B's.&quo...My favorite would be "The Killer B's." A trio of pitching prospects in the Yankees system that dominated the minors. Unfortunatly one of them (Andrew Brackman) is no longer with the Yankees, another just had Tommy John (Manny Banuelos) and the last (my favorite Dellin Betances) had a downright awful 2012 with a 6+ ERA in Triple A and a 6+ ERA in Double A after getting demoted.
Despite that (and the fact that the Killer B's movement never took the hobby by storm, except amongst Yankees collectors) it's still my favorite. Coupled with Jesus Montero's progression it looked like the Yankees were finally starting a new chapter with homegrown talent. Unfortunatly a lot of things went wrong but a for brief moment there was a bright future.Zippy Zappyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06695389359056056119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199201726099157936.post-75919467015607144812012-11-01T21:54:36.226-07:002012-11-01T21:54:36.226-07:00Vinsanity was awesome, that dunk contest was one o...Vinsanity was awesome, that dunk contest was one of my favorite all star moments of all timeChris Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07893312157097717796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4199201726099157936.post-45272100658280874012012-11-01T21:08:57.300-07:002012-11-01T21:08:57.300-07:00I need to hunt down one of those bobble heads... b...I need to hunt down one of those bobble heads... but I'm sure they go for big dinero.

Love Nomo too. Nomo also have me great pride in my Japanese heritage.

Fernando is till hugely popular in LA. His jersey is still seen around Dodger Stadium worn by fans. The Dodgers also honor him with a bobble once a year.Spiegel83https://www.blogger.com/profile/04965039640352189372noreply@blogger.com
