Bad Timing

Have you ever sat on a post waiting for the perfect day to publish it... but then the day comes along and you realize it's not appropriate?

That's what happened to me over the weekend, when I realized that Easter landed on April 20th this year.

April 20th is celebrated by the cannabis community every year and I finally got my hands on a copy of this card:

It was part of a care package that John over at Johnny's Trading Spot sent me last year.  Yup.  I've been sitting on this for a long time.

However I didn't think it'd be appropriate to publish it on a religious holiday, so I waited until 4:20am on April 21st.

Thank you John!  I've been wanting a copy of this Bong/Puffer card for years.

Extra Innings

Last month I wrote about the 2011 Topps Update starter set I purchased off of my buddy.  I was hoping I'd find some of the cards I needed in my classroom.

Well... I searched those bins of cards and didn't find a single 2011 Topps Update card.  Well some of you mentioned you might be able to help and I have finally put together my list of set needs:

I don't really have any singles from this set to trade, but I am willing to buy them off of you.  Just shoot me an email.  I'll update this list if anyone ends up having cards that I need.
