I would want to know, making information asymmetrical. Seems best choice for everyone. This being said, there is alot of "swindlers" out there in this hobby. I view collecting as a fun activity. One reason why I dont get forgeries and swindlers in the "business" is that I see it as relaxation and fun, a return to my childhood. When I start to see the hobby as something else, I probably wont be active in it, hence I have no need for cheats in the hobby....
